 to CF matt.
Kick off your shoes, sit back, relax, and enjoy your stay.
If you could give us some more details about your setup:
What OS are you using? What have you already tried? Ar you running any firewall products?
This would help greatly in getting to the bottom of your problem.
Cheers,
Raist.

Re: Help
Ok, I take it that (when you say, "install the software") you mean the NTL disc?
If you have got one account working ok then your internet connection is already set up and there shouldn't be any need to re-install the software.
Are you using a USB connection or Ethernet (assuming that we are talking BB here)?
It may be a case of just setting up the other two user accounts to point at your Local Area Network (LAN - in this case your Cable Modem) for your internet connection.
Just confirm for us that you have one machine, with three user accounts, and that one of them does have a working internet connection.
Thanks

Re: Help
1) On the accounts that don't work, what happens?
2) On the accounts that don't work, open IE, go to Tools/Internet Options/Connections, and check there are no dial-up settings. Go to LAN Settings and check there is no proxy server selected.

Re: Help
In the earlier post you said 'ni firewall running'. Is this Norton Internet Firewall, or a typo ('no firewall'). If the former, have you tried disabling the firewall (and the XP firewall if enabled?). NOT suggesting you leave it disabled, but just to rule out a firewall issue.

Re: Help
On one of the accounts that is not working , I would suggest you check the TCP/IP details to do this, goto a command prompt (click run and then type cmd) in the black DOS style window that appears type ipconfig /let us know the results ie does it say cable disocneected etc..
