redirect / answerphone

Yo all

I just have the basic phone package (which came with the TV and modem) †“ I think it costs £10 a month. I tend to use the phone line to receive business related calls (I know I know †¦ ).

Anyway, with out tying to plunge into the NTL website (which I find a pain), I am after the following two features:

1) Redirect †“ so that when I go out I could choose to redirect the number to a mobile.
2) Answer Phone †“ so that I can check any messages (if I do not redirect )

Can someone tell my how much and the quickest and easiest way of doing this.

Hi,
Suggest you call up Customer Services on 0800 052 2000 and ask for the Call Divert Feature @ £1.75 pm and if you are in the right area you can get the Free Voicemail Service also.

If you are not in the right area then you can have (or may even want) Voicemail Plus @ £1.75 pm that also allows you to access your voicemail while not at home.

N.B. You can have all phone features (Voicemail, Divert, Caller ID, Three Way Calling, etc.) for £3.50 pm, which is the same as the cost of the above two.

Agreed... I have simply given Mark a direct answer to his specific requirements.
Mark, as Bob states you have a number of further options which you may or may not want - suggest you take the plunge into the NTL Website and compare the options before calling CS and ordering.
