Re: Slight problem
Well thats kind of a relief cos last time this happened it was a pig of a job to sort out. I sometimes find these forums so much more useful for the novice like myself than NTL tech support. Thanks

Re: Slight problem
Alan, in summary the source of the avatar is missing, and those who can see it are only able to because they have a locally stored copy, which will be ubtaded at some point when they refresh their local cache of the page.

So why ask As the OP explained why he/she was worried.
*wonders if people are posting useless posts again to up their count

Re: Slight problem
there was more to my post dellwear, if you would like to read it again, this makes me think you are posting to up your count, what ever that means.
I am not interested in how many posts I do, that is just childish.
ik
p.s. you are taking this off topic

You just reiterated what had already been said, thats why I asked you if you'd read the thread.
Doesn't matter anyway, I just thought it'd be interesting to find out why you felt like posting unnecessary and repetitive information.

Re: Slight problem
Can we chalk this up to skim reading a thread and over zealous posting while trying to help??
It can be easy to miss posts which may hold important information and to be honest there aren't many people on this forum (myself included) who have yet to post repeated or mistaken information/ advice.
Arguing the toss on a thread and in doing so taking a thread a long way off topic is not needed
Ik posts a suggestion that had already been made at least once in the thread and questions why the OP asked the question in the first place,
Dell points out the repeated information and questions Ik as to if he has read the entire thread,
Ik seems to take offense to this and answers in a slightly terse and off hand way,
Dell posts querying Ik's latest post,
Ik seems to take offense again and replies,
Dell posts...
Ik posts...
Everyone else wonders when the thread will get back on topic and Ik and Dell agree to disagree

Re: Slight problem
One moment your post says pandora'sbox.com and the next post says

Re: Slight problem
That was a pointless reply to a 3 month old thread Pandora'sbox.com will of course not work, but that's not the issue here.
