I noticed a story earlier about how people could 'club together' to share e.g. a film - I wouldn't want to infringe copyright, but it did sound interesting

Re: Internet Radio
This sort of thing is quite easy with the SHOUTCAST or LIVE365 software, I still do private shows occaisonally for friends, but only music I own a legitimate CD of.
I think you'll find that legally you still a licence if you intend public broadcasting, and that Music/Artists rights organisations could come after you.

Re: Internet Radio
Not quite internet radio (although I am listening to it while using the internet) but I use wireless headphones with the base unit plugged-in to the PC and beamed via FM to the headphones.... my MP3 playlist has just finished but instead of getting a load of static till the headphones switch themselves off, I'm picking up whatever crap my neighbours are listening to right now. Sounds kinda like Midnight Oil crossed with Simon & Garfunkel.... very strange!
So, anyway, who are Alan and Bob?

Alan is Bop and I, in haste to say Bop, typed in Bob.
And those quick enough will have spotted another typo
