Re: The Happy Thought Thread
I've always seemed to have been a 'late night' type of person, now I'm retired I've settled into a routine of bed at around 3am and get up around 9am (with occasional exceptions).
I used to hate a 6 to 2 shift, could never sleep right and always moody at work until I'd 'woke up' at about 9am

Forced myself to give the car a good wash especially the alloys as I want them to survive the wetter and colder months, it was cold out but it's a job done.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread
I was featured in the Scottish Sun newspaper in October as part of the Scottish Government's organ donation week publicity. Deels great to tell my story and raise more awareness around the topic, as many are still unaware of the importance and also the impact it has on people waiting for that gift of life.
Here is the online version.

Then this week I was on Healthier Scotland coverage.

Such a great feeling.

So very happy for you. Why did I expect you to have a broad Scottish accent? 😅

Re: The Happy Thought Thread
Received a letter from the Gas people today, fully expecting it to be yet another begging letter saying I need to pay more because their computer says so . . .
Oh, I'm a touch over £5 in credit . . .

I can't remember the last time I've written a cheque, must be maybe 10+ years a go.
