Question Freecash and Testerup

I see ads for these far too frequently, as I play a lot of games...not a lot else to do . On the face of it you can be paid to do this. I have to admit it sounds good.

It also sounds like something for nothing, and anything which seems too good to be true is. OTOH I could use some spare cash(couldn't we all!) right now.

There has to be a catch. Though there is that 4.7 Trustpilot rating...

One thought that occurs: why isn't everyone doing it (and throwing the economy into what the Royal World Minister of Qualvista would call 'one whole joojooflop situation')?

Has anyone here used either?

Re: Freecash and Testerup

Personal opinion here, anything that gives you a feeling there's something 'wrong', yet has a good Trustpilot rating gets thrown into the dark cupboard under the stairs

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is, I doubt anyone makes anywhere near what the ads claim

Mmm, I agree with both of you, and thanks. But it'd be most useful to hear from anyone who's actually used these apps.

Well, to be honest, never used it as I tend to subscribe to the idea that if it seems too good to be true then.....

https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/testerup.com

What I can glean from the reviews is that it is legit, technically does work, but nowhere near as easy as the ads suggest. Play a game and immediately £40 appears in your PayPal account? Not exactly.

But of course, your milage may vary.

Mmm, thought it wouldn't be as simple. Best not, then. Thanks.

Re: Freecash and Testerup

Still thinking about it. The thought occurs that if I never try 'em, I'll never know.

However, 2 things are giving me pause for thought:

1) The $10 signup bonus was allegedly expiring at midnight, a 'limited time' offer. This was also true 2 weeks ago. How "limited" is that time?

2) Allegedly payments are on the same day. Impossible in the UK, the banks don't work that fast. Though IMO they should; it shouldn't take much longer to conduct any straightforward transaction than it takes to type it in. <sarcasm>Correct me if I'm wrong, but that was the whole point of computerising everything, to speed it up.</sarcasm>

(We need a 'sarcasm' smilie!)

<cynical>Of course that destroys the whole concept of interest.</cynical> Maybe banking should be rethought in 2020s terms, where computers are a fact of life, rather than 1920s terms, when computers weren't even an idea (various mechanical constructs and Ada Lovelace notwithstanding).

(We need a 'cynical' smilie. too!)

Re: Freecash and Testerup

Since when were banks not able to complete transactions the same day? it all depends what protocol they use to transfer it .

Re: Freecash and Testerup

Our Bank (Lloyds, was Halifax) transfers payments in under 2 hours (usually within minutes).

They do? Hmm, never knew that. Then again I seldom check my account...in view of how little is in there.
