Ok l have no problem with power. However wondering about this . Do batteries last is put in to what ever you want them for but power by the mains? Duracell have a "good for date" quite a few years ahead . Perhaps reverse installed would work . Just thinking it would be easier to locate

My mini DAB specifies NOT to power from the mains adapter if the batteries are fitted.
A lot of modern batteries, especially lithium ones, have very long shelf lives if stored cool and dry. It's all down to them reducing internal power leakage.
This has been drip-fed into the media over months now, though this is perhaps the most frank a senior government minister has yet been on the issue. It is pretty obvious that the government believes that a massive attack on national infrastructure is a matter of when, rather than if, in the medium term. We also know that our national ability to stockpile natural gas has been compromised by years of poor strategic decision making, and that there is precious little slack in our power generating infrastructure for the same reasons.?
I cant believe with how mad our stupid president is making people that nothing has happend yet!
