I think some TiVos may still be out there, not sure why. For them to be migrated a TV 360, VM's broadband will be needed and VM will supply a hub if the customer doesn't have one.

Re: Virgin TV (2026)
anyone think theyre keeping virgin media and o2 very separate in order to sell them off soon enough?
i thought by now there would be a new dedicated website (since both are quite old looking especially the o2 website) but nope they still have two separate websites.
the branding has literally just become 'virgin media 02' so that both are still separate brands. theyve put new fronts on shops but again that can be changed fairly easily. most people say "im on o2" if you ask them who they have their phone contract with. most people say "im on virgin media" if you ask who they get broadband from
it seems to be most half arsed merger ever and to me it seems like it could be a temporary one?

It's probably some kind of legalised loophole, shares and electronic cash are moved about to create profit/loss tax fiddles and move debt around until it disappears . . . or somfink

Retired retired unless you're loaded up with software upgrade. Make it make sense

Re: Virgin TV (2026)
Well it solves the problem of reading the message, doesnt really solve the ultimate issue.

They’ll just keep persisting until they wear us all down. On the one hand, I’ve only got about 10% recordings on my V6, have nothing I don’t mind losing, and am ok with technology so won’t have much of an issue. But my wife’s V6 has loads of series recorded and she’s technophobic, so it’s going to be a real issue for her tech support staff (me) to guide her through the new software.

Re: Virgin TV (2026)
So what is the "planned programme" and what are the "coming months"? If there is a definite plan, then we should be informed about the what and when. We certainly don't pay to have a service that is going to be deliberately "disrupted".
