As papa says, "your bank may vary", which was for Carth - my post was in support of yours (sorry that wasn’t clear).

Re: Moans and Pet Hates

I rarely see dog poop on the paths these days, but a neighbour shares a fairly new pet hate with me now that we have several reusable bags and containers to put out for recycling.

It's dog owners who let their pets pee all over those containers when they are out on the pavement.

spray vinegar or diluted essential oils . Strong smells like that repel dogs

Just a little moan.

I accidentally shredded an 8 pence off per litre voucher for Tesco Fuel.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates

The uptake of digital prescription requesting has been very poor in Wales. Many have little or no interest in doing things online, and many, like my wife and kids, haven't got the photo-IDs they accept to register.

So all our local pharmacies that collect the scripts from the GP surgeries will now only do so once a week. And now they can only do so if they are "nominated" by the person requesting a repeat prescription. And that has to be done online! I called the pharmacy, and she told me that she collected the paper scripts today, and it's a HUGE pile that will take days to fulfil.

I have raised this both by email and snail mail with our local councillors, MP and Arsembly Member, but only received auto responses.

Is there a reason your French wife can't get a passport because I'm confused?

Boots no longer collect paper scripts. You have to or order on line .

Re: Moans and Pet Hates

There are several companies that will deliver prescriptions by post, as long as they are sent to them digitally by your doctor (which all should be able to do, whatever they may tell you). Boots is one, Asda and Pharmacy2u spring to mind as others. I used one for years but now a local company delivers them to me in person.
