Adobe apps Vibe coded and released open source

This is not piracy this is all new code creating software that does what Adobe does from Photoshop to Premier to Lightroom and even to Acrobat


The clones of the above are PhotoCraft FilmCraft LightCraft and PrintCraft

And the incredible part is it was all done by AI

They aren’t bad, but they should be considered as ‘late alpha releases’ and not fully stable replacements. Also, how long until Adobe’s (no doubt expensive) legal team get involved and start doing; well legal stuff?

But I’ve downloaded them, and willing to give them a try.

I got CS6 so do not need it but it is fascinating but worrying where this could go

Quite a few "Professionals" are saying they are not good enough for professional level work but they are a little better than "Free" app's out there.

I know LTT did a video on them and the "professionals" there said they were not bad.


One thing as much as I hate a lot of AI and what it's used for, I think Adobe and Sony are being hit and fairly so, they have abused their positions for too long and now are going to suffer because of it.


Last I saw, someone had got the Playstation OS 90% running in an Emulator, probably won't be long before the ability to run it natively on a PC, is done and Sony lose control of the software even more than they already have.

Someone has even managed to make a "Jailbreak" that allows you to play any game with any DLC for free on the Playstation 5.

Sony have basically killed the Playstation arm because of their anti-consumer stance and policies, Adobe are going to suffer as well.


It won't stop there though it will go further.

Take a look at AnyPS5 converts the executable and adds libraries and so on to run games natively without emulation
