Which app or technology solution (freely, Veltech, or what) put it on the screen - it’s not obvious from the previous posts…

I believe it was Roku, that also had Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, and ITVX pre-installed.

Roku is just fine, I have two Roku Express widgets that have been used on a variety of secondary TVs in our house for years. They have lasted much longer than the Amazon Fire Stick we had previously and have shown no signs of slowing down or getting less functional with age.
I also have an RCA branded TV with Roku built in, which is used in the midweek events room at church. Again, no issues, it runs every streaming app you could want it to run, without any problems at all.
