If the police lied, Reform UK would have filed a complaint. They didn't. Unlikely to happen the other way round.

As Hugh stated, Farage did not say that point about his legal team on the video. Furthermore, the investigations are still underway so he's not been able to say he's been cleared.

Re: Reform UK's chronicles
Quote:
Nigel Farage has suggested that he was misled by one of his closest political aides, as he seeks to distance himself from the scandal over illegal foreign donations that is engulfing his party.
The Reform UK leader was secretly recorded by an undercover journalist being told how they planned to circumvent electoral laws to fund the party.
The meeting had been arranged by Dan Jukes, one of Farage’s most trusted aides, who was trying to secure what would have been an illegal £500,000 donation for the party from an American businessman.
But Farage insisted on Sunday that he was told in advance of the meeting that the businessman was a permissible donor because his family office was based in London — that would have made the donation legitimate. Separate undercover footage revealed that Jukes knew that was not the case.
“I was told before the meeting that it was a global business, but there was the family office, was based in London,” he told the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg. “A global family business. Look, my job wasn’t to do compliance. My job wasn’t to do a background check. My job was to turn up at a lunch, have a glass of wine and shake somebody’s hand.”

Poor Kenny, sorry, Dan Jukes…

What you do in the privacy of your own home with your vast collection of Farage "candid" snaps is entirely your own business…
