Re: Andy Burnham’s chronicles
So many people caught up with "it's been done for years" or "it's only £13.6k" etc.
The fact is, none of the MP's should be accepting "gifts" doesn't matter the amount because it just say's "I can be bought for the price of a cup of tea".
I don't care if is a "faux pas" or "not politically good", it's a bribe plain and simple!
Politics all around the world is screwed, politicians can be bought and 100% of them are paid for buy companies, unions, other countries governments etc etc, not a single Politician does the job for the reasons they should, they do it for what they can get from it!

Yes, but it makes no difference. Unconditional gifts don’t have to be declared whether or not you are an MP.

Re: Andy Burnham’s chronicles
How do you know that £5M gift was unconditional? Because Nigel says so?

Indeed. Are you saying you have evidence that is untrue? You can go around throwing mud as much as you like, but in the end you need proof.
This mudslinging has been going on for a while now and Farage has come out smelling of roses every time. This one is no different.
