I know some of you used to have CRTs so maybe you know what might be the problem?
It started after the power went on/off on/off 3 times within a min then was off for about an hour..
When I turn her on the screen is a little off senter and if a bright image comes on she turns off... Its a 13PR15 (13" and im not sure what the 15 means)
Thankfully I found another TV exactly the same model but I wanna see if I can get this one fixed seeing CRTs are hard to come by now...
Do you guys think its a weak cap or a weak resister??
The picture comes on ok but like I said if its too bright it goes off...

would say check the caps but you might end up electrocuting yourself

Thing is I would be looking for areas of damage blown caps. A visual inspection would be enough to see if caps were blown. I am guessing something iffy round the power delivery part of the board

Ya your probably right.. It happend right after a power event so who knows...
Our poor electronics are vulnerable to this crappy electric that comes in.. Maybe the best thing to do is EVERYTHING unplugged unless we are using it..

CRT Monitors are actually quite sort after for emulator cabinets

I got my TV...
The Connector in the back is crooked... I hope I can get my VCR cable onto it!
My connector on the 1 I have had is loose,I have no clue how it got loose.....The set has been in one place for years!
This one is tight but crooked...
I gotta first look at the settings on set 1 and put the same on set 2...
