Re: What have you just bought?

BP reading - take 3 in morning and 3 in the evening, resting for 15 mins before reading. Submit the lowest reading in each set.
Mine can fluctuate but are usually below 130/90, even down to 113/74 in one set. It can peak higher though.

In old money, I think it's somewhere between "I'll just have a couple" . . and . . 'falling off the bar stool'

Thought it was

On that note, yesterday had a text from Docs to make an appointment for blood tests, because previous tests (for the last 20 years) show me as being 'borderline' in the diabetes thing.

It also seems they've accepted that I won't get up at 7am to ring the surgery and sit in a phone queue for half an hour only to be told "sorry, nothing until next week" . . so the text included a link to online booking . . sorted, thank you

My docs has gone online triage they ask a number of questions to get an idea of what your needs are. The 2 times I have used it I have had same day appointments 1st one not so get with a nurse practitioner that first said he could not print my scriptcuz the printer was broke and had to send it to the chemist but they will get it straight away then went on to print a bloods form. The script was not there and caused issues. Second time was great .

Bought a new TV cabinet ready for a new TV I am buying this month

Re: What have you just bought?

Some bottles of Waitrose Loved & Found Castelão red wine.

Shared a bottle at the weekend with my brother-in-law (his bottle), and liked it so much when we passed a Waitrose this morning I popped in and bought three bottles.

Surprised at Miele mind they always had a good reputation. Heard good thinks about Liebherr

I need to get a load of appliances as we’re about to complete on the new house, inc. A chest freezer to go into the garage and a under counter fridge for the kitchen and a new microwave.

Yes so was I , handle broke along with seal, just out of warranty wanted a black one so choice was limited. Went to AO, just have to remember to cancel there membership scheme, the cost was about the same were ever I looked . Saved £150 approx by joining at the cost of £40 approx . If you need a lot of things you should check it out .

A big birthday card for my sister's 60th from Moonpig for the 12th. She's a vegetarian but we joke about it being the "glorius 12th"

You haven’t lived until you’ve watched all the coaches driving off the ferry at Cairnryan on the 13th of July …
