I've never had a thing for donuts. Bland dough with sugar sprinkled on top.

Blood sugar tester.
My 3 month level was just over the "allowed" limit so I decided to check mine for a couple of weeks.
So far its confirming the original blood test result - generally just over the top of the "normal" range.

So I did my first home blood pressure test at 8am this morning and both readings are over the limit so I'll be making an appointment at doctors in 2 weeks time after ive taken a week of readings, I then have a week off work so not going during that.
I'm hoping it's simple to fix because it's freaked me out a little.

Tablets, for as long as needed (which is usually the rest of your life). I take a combination of two.

I'm with Paul, but would add it can take a little bit of tweaking to find what works for you.
On Saturday mine was 117/71. Looking back the worst reading a couple of years ago was 151/91, and the worrying thing was I felt fine when it was that high.

the thing with home blood tests is you have to get yourself in the zone, don't do at just after a coffee or tea or just after eating ,sit quiet and relax for a few mins before testing, i took my readings to the doctors and she said is your BP always this low is said you put me on lots or pill to lower it

Yes I think I'm in the correct zone when doing it and avoiding eating food or drinking or moving around too much before a reading. I really hate taking readings I hate the feeling on my arm.
I think it's only a little high so not too worried now, I'm sure the docs will fix me up.

Re: What have you just bought?
My blood pressure is always on the high side, and I'm very good now at home testing.
I submitted some test results a month or so back, not heard a thing from the doctors. Maybe they think the tablets are still working, although if they checked the records it would show I haven't renewed the prescription for over 9 months now . . .
. . . which makes me think asking for home test results every once in a while is just a box ticking thing to hit targets
