Re: What have you just bought?
Our lad loves Peperami smoky ketchup. B&M had loads reduced to 40p, so I bought a dozen bottles. all dated in mid-2017.
3 packs of smash burgers at 50% off from Aldi has sorted tomorrow's tea, and a couple of lamb burgers for the missus who won't eat beef.

So much preservative it wouldn't make too much difference.

A nice heavy base as I was gifted a nice big parasol for my slowly developing garden

Re: What have you just bought?
A bloody pressure upper arm monitor because I went for a respiratory test at work and the first thing they do is check your blood pressure, well I failed it so they wouldn't do the test!
So they have asked me to buy this and take 2 readings a day for a month before they see me again, so I'm hoping I'll be ok doing it in a home environment when I am relaxed because I could feel high blood pressure having to do something like this at work.
Not brave enough to use it yet!

Re: What have you just bought?
I failed at a recent annual checkup. A raised reading is no good, strokes and stuff. This year I refused to wear the weekend monitoring device. The nurse ended saying just lose weight. Easier said than done.

Lol.
By the time I rushed out the clean room got my suit off then rushed upstairs to the meeting, my heart and pulse were racing, so this increased my blood pressure because I wasn't relaxed at all.....and I definitely wasn't dead. Hehe

I don't like sugar. It's like salt, gives a weird reaction in the body. You'd think I'd be in shape saying that.
