I can't say I'm a big football fan or armchair expert, but about 5 mins in last night Mrs G summed it up with her chuckle brothers comment of 'to you, to me' followed up with 'this is flipping boring' (but she used the grown-up word).
However, a win's a win and I'm looking forward to the next game.

Was always going to be a slow/challenging game with the temperature and humidity, England can count themselves incredibly lucky, the majority of their passing was pretty poor

Argentina seem dangerous going forward, but not so solid at the back.
Much like England really, so it will be an "interesting" match, I still think my bet on France looks good.

Yeah, right. 
They were a complete waste of time.
I dont think they even had a shot on target until the last few minutes.
I should ask the French embassy for my money back, they were dreadful.
