Re: Weather
Just got back from Hever Castle really hot all day at 28c, I'm not sure I can survive the expected 39c later in the week.

Re: Weather
I'm going to my cousin's funeral tomorrow, and all the weather apps give different temperatures, from 33c to 39c.
But I'm wearing suit trousers and a white shirt, and tie (its a Homer Simpson Father Christmas one) I always wore this tie on the 25th of June as it's 6 months to the festive season.

Re: Weather
Just over 30C in the shade on the North side of the house. We're only a couple of miles from the sea.
Now in the official red zone.

Re: Weather
Reasons to be Cheerful:
* The tumble drier is now redundant
* It's too hot to mow the lawns
* Having an all through lounge creates a nice breeze with the windows open
* The dog doesn't have the energy to incessantly bark at the postman/delivery drivers/dustbin men
* I'm retired, therefore don't need to work in this weather
