Re: Starmer’s chronicles
Burnham is a fan of PR, he'll get my vote in perpetuity if he brings that in, imagine everyone's vote actually counting for something and no more of this 30% of the vote and 100% of the power BS

Yes, but ultimately you don't have to do what they recommend. A few resignations in the Cabinet over the last couple of years suggests this has happened.

Well said, especially as when they inherited it there was 70% public satisfaction with it

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
I’m coming round to the idea that news channels should be regulated to only have a percentage of Westminster coverage, and a minimum percentage covering news stories from around the UK.
It’s one big Westminster podcast of tittle tattle.

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
And there we go.
Keir Starmer announces his resignation as prime minister and leader of Labour Party
Just not quite yet.
Quote:
This will mean a new leader is in place before parliament returns in September.
Until then he will remain in post as prime minister, he says.

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
Can we also ban those reporters and 'correspondents' that speak in a dull flat robotic monotone, and those with the squeaky highly exited voice that cuts like a knife.

Nobody else wants to sip from the poisoned chalice, much easier to let the next stooge take the seat, then snipe from the background
