It's the highlights. A safety car you said, Kimi dropping to 7th then finishing 5th.
The kids got pole for the race tomorrow. Impressive.

Yes, Kimi is the youngest person ever to grab pole in a F1 main event.
I got a feeling Max is going to be a miserable grump all season, hopefully the Ferrari guys we do well all season but I am expecting Russell to win WDC based on what I've seen so far but things will likely change.

Charles to win a championship
Max in Ferrari red would be ace. Not a repeat of Seb though.

Re: Formula 1 2026 Season Thread
I would love Lewis to get another one before he retires but if he can't do it then I'm ok with the other Ferrari.

Good race I'm happy for the winner and it's great to see another Ferrari on the podium.

Re: Formula 1 2026 Season Thread
I had a late night so no chance waking for this. Annoyingly I woke as the race ended.
The kid Kimi has made progress since entering F1. He was all over the place. Can't knock someone that's progressing well

Yes he's done well.
It's a shame both McLaren cars failed to make the start as well as Albon and Bortoleto and I hope Aston can fix their biscuit tin of a car because it's a joke.

Adrian to step down and be replaced by the current Audi boss Wheatley is the current story.
