Police Raid over Nintendo and Sega Dev kits

I really do not know where to list this because it is quite complex and it is News as well as interesting to Gamers but here is a little summary of the video

Sega scraps a load a junk but in the junk gets mixed up dev kits. A guy buys from a scrap yard lists the stuff and an investigator goes to view. The investigator tells sega and the guy gets raided and accused of all sorts
Turns out there is a direct link between Sega Nintendo and a load of other companies that has direct influence of the Police . This in UK too.

Gamers Nexus are very good at this sort of investigation because they do not care

Re: Police Raid over Nintendo and Sega Dev kits

Anyone who didn’t want to watch a video, here’s an article from PC Gamer

https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/uk-...ed-of-by-sega/

There does appear to be some confusion as to whether the dev kits should have been taken in the first place…

Quote:
It has since emerged Sega had hired another firm, ITR Secure, to specifically dispose of its computer hardware. Still, sources told The Daily Mail that an on-site manager had instructed Waste to Wonder workers to clear out everything, including the dev kits.

Waste to Wonder denies any wrongdoing. Speaking to The Daily Mail, managing director of Waste to Wonder Michael Amos says, "IT [equipment] was not in scope and we never allow subcontractors to sell items. We no longer work with that subcontractor."
This has a bit more detail on the subbie
