For anyone that isn't going to watch the Australian Qualifying session live at 5am, Sky will broadcast it again at 7.30am for normal people like me!

McLaren looking the strongest in P2, Aston Martin.... 5 seconds off the pace and they only have 2 batteries so if they fall apart due to vibrations it'll be game over.
Alonso not in a good place according to Newey.

I watched the Qualifying at 7.30, a good result for certain team based on recent years.

Race start 4am - Nope.... Not for me.
Race Replay 7.55am.... oh gone on then!
I'm expecting alot of chaos and safety cars.

Well Mercedes did well in the opening race while many of the other teams are extremely unhappy with the new changes that came in before the start of the season.

I thought that was a great race, very entertaining with all the rocket ship overtaking, Ferrari at the start was out of this world and if the whole season is like this then it could be a great regulation change.
Mercedes and Ferrari are the ones to beat so far.

I only saw the highlights on TV at 10.
I don't have sky sports anyway

You could consider IPTV it costs pennies, it's easy to setup(yes I know it's dodgy), even my parents do it now.

The most overtakes for a race in 2025 was 60 and in the first race of the 2026 season we're already at 120.
