It's a shame Ferrari, Charles in particular is showing great drive but when it really matters, race endurance the car will fall away. It's sad. I'd love to believe Charles can mount a championship bid

I would love to see Ferrari in the top 3 this year at the start of the season. I'd like Lewis to do well before he retires, but I think he's past his best.

Well after 2 seasons of Mercedes being a shit box it may have been a good change, remember Mercedes only wanted to give him a 1 year contract.

Looks like Aston Martin have some serious problems with their power unit and with 2 weeks to go this sounds like a disaster!

Several sources told BBC Sport this week that Newey said at Wednesday's meeting of the F1 Commission - a rule-making body comprising all the teams as well as F1 and the FIA - that the Honda power-unit could not even recover energy at the lower limit of 250kw, let alone the higher one of 350kw, which comes into force under certain circumstances in the highly complex rules.

Reliability was so bad that by the start of the final day of the test, Honda had only one battery left, and took the decision to limit running to only short runs. A statement said that was to allow them to study data in between track outings, but in the end Lance Stroll did only six laps all day.

What a joke of a team Aston Martin are, hopefully Newey can sort out these ridiculous problems quickly!

The Honda engine vibrations that Aston Martin is suffering are so severe that they limit the number of laps drivers are able to complete without risking damage to their hands, team boss Adrian Newey has revealed.

Aston Martin team principal Adrian Newey says vibrations from their Honda engine are risking permanent nerve damage for their drivers within 25 laps of running.

"That vibration into the chassis is causing a few reliability problems," Newey said.

"Mirrors falling off, tail lights falling off - all that sort of thing, which we are having to address.

"But the much more significant problem is that the vibration is transmitted ultimately into the driver's fingers.

Unfortunately I don't think they will even finish unless they can solve the vibration of the chassis. They think the battery vibration is solved but that doesn't stop the chassis falling apart and maybe they won't have any spare parts left after practice sessions, if they even attempt to run them.
