I now have 6 lines (for testing purposes) 4 are now 6 months and 2 are 12 month subs and in total I paid less than £50 for all of them
None of them are 100% stable if I used them on a device I would VPN permanently on that device or set up a VPN network with a Tomato router I have from a while ago but on my PC that is not practical so need more than 1 service to guarantee I have stream as and when I want

Re: What have you just bought?
I wanted a oled Sony but for some reason I didn't feel like parting with the money so I've been keeping an eye on eBay, gumtree, vinted for a unwanted gift at a bargain price and today I think I got exactly that on vinted
https://uk.hisense.com/products/tv/q...00000020015873
£200 + fee £13.20 + postage £18.19 = 231.39
It'll do I think for the bedroom I'm curious of freely

I needed to update a TV for my bedroom and I also didn't want to buy a top of the range Mini-Led for silly money, I also needed it to be no bigger than 40in so I ended up getting a QLED Hisense and it's perfect for it's use, I also got a compact very cheap Hisense soundbar as I just needed to improve the TV speakers.
My point being you should be fine with a Hisense in the bedroom but you have IPTV you don't need Freely.

Re: What have you just bought?
Sonos do decent soundbars. I have beams in the bedrooms. Ray in the office. And I'm looking to get an arc for the front room.
I was thinking of downtime. Freely might come in handy. Also the sync in realtime. Freely might be tuned in time. Watching new year's on a delay is amusing fireworks going off outside before me seeing Big Ben ring out

Re: What have you just bought?
Creative Z906 5.1 speakers. Second hand off Ebay £125 been after a set of these for ages but they retail still over £300 new. 6 Channel Direct for my PC but it also has Optical and Coaxial digital for later. Out of date tech but quality at this price for what you get is unmatchable

LOL, what a strange question.
Is a TV worth it for only one purpose ?
Is a Freesat box worth it for only one purpose ?
Is a Freeview box worth it for only one purpose ?
You could ask the same question about any device that you buy for a specific purpose.
