Today's Freeview UK Changes in full:

Removed:
*UK RADIO PORTAL from Channel 277
*3ABN from Channel 268

Rebrand:
GREAT! romance mix rename as Great! Romance Mix on Channel 62

Moved:
It Is Written TV moved from Channel 286 to Channel 268

New Channel:
MBC Group launches on Channel 289

Also Local TV channel Notts TV has been removed.

Following changes has happen this past week on COM6

*Ideal World is now broadcasting on Freeview 51 - 24 hrs a day

Both Hobby Craft TV & Xpanded TV are now timesharing:

7am - Hobby Craft TV on Ch 97
7pm - Unuse
12am - Xpanded TV

A brand new streaming channel - Cartoon Classics is set to launch in October's Freeview/Freely changes.

That is set to happen on Wednesday 15th October.

YAAAS! moved from SDN to the local mux.
wedotv Movies UK launched as a full broadcast channel on the local mux.
Cartoon Classics launched as a streaming channel on the local mux.
Gemporia is the new name for Gems TV.”

Freeview changes on Wednesday 10th December 2025
Freeview channel 205 POP is closing linear channel
Freeview channel 208 POP Player closing
Freeview channel 212 POP Max is moving to Freeview channel 205 and change the name to POP
Got an email this morning from Narrative Entertainment but in the email no mention about Freeview channel 212 POP Max

As POP Linear only relaunch on Freeview this year.

Will one of the GREAT branded channels reuse POP slot on Freeview?

Here is the up to date list of space on Freeview being unused.

24 hours slots:
-Old 4Seven slot on COM5.
-Old U&W slot on COM6.

Part time slots:
-Together TV slot on SDN/COM4 not in Wales (6pm to Midnight only).

I’m not paying super close attention and keeping count, but U&W moved to COM4, so maybe that took the POP slot?

UKTV moves U&Dave +1 hour channel to the local Mux to make room for U&W.

Due to General Entertainment channel numbers (01 to 99) being use any new General Entertainment channel will appear on Freeview Channel 120 or 121.

Music & Memories TV looks to be in the process of securing it's own Freeview channel number. According to the channels message board an announcement is due to be made shortly about a February launch date. It is currently part of the Channel Box selection on channel 271. No info on whether it will be broadcast or streamed, though I would think streamed is more likely.
