Talking A pleasant surprise...

...here.

The surprise isn't that she's raising cubs, or that they look well-grown. It's that she has five of them. She must be a terrific huntress to be feeding that many.

Though I have seen a photo of a cheetah with six cubs - which is even more surprising considering the odds against her.

Great to see it, though!

Apparently in some ways they are easier to domesticate than ordinary cats, you did say you were thinking of getting a new feline companion...

Talking Re: A pleasant surprise...

Domesticate a tiger. Yeah. Apart from the fact that there's no room in my flat for a 2-metre, 300kg ball of fur, claws & fangs, I prefer life (boring though it is ATM) to death. Panthera tigris may be capable of a blep (as shown in my Funny Images entry), but that does not make it a household kitty. Whoever tries to "domesticate" a tiger deserves all they get. Doubtless Honor Harrington would sooner keep a hexapuma (Nimitz notwithstanding).

(He says, whilst ROFL at the very idea!)
