VM account problem

I recently logged out of my VM account and now can't get back in. The login page is now branded as VM-O2 and wants me to sign in or register for vm o2. I don't have any O2 services. However when I do enter my correct VM primary email address I'm told it is not valid.

I've had the account 30 years so definitely know my login details but feel like I've been here before with VM changing stuff without notice then leaving people to research the usually complex solution.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Re: VM account problem

When I left VM about 11 months ago my VM email address never got deleted and when I resigned from VM last month I used my new email address which I use on O2's website, VM asked me to setup a VMO2 ID which I did and cannot now login to my new VM account online, tried it on my laptop (using 4 different browsers, Firefox, Duck Duck Go, Opera and Edge), tried it on my desktop PC using the same browsers and the VM I phone app, still cant access my VM account online and now access to my O2 account is all screwed up. I tried using my old ********@virginmedia.com address to sign in and VM states invalid email address, even though the email account is still active and working.

Put two complaints in over the past month or so and heard nothing back, VM are lousy at communications.

I've put my 30 days notice in on the 14 day (29th Nov) of service as its ridiculous that I cannot access my VM account details etc. The UK retentions guy I spoke to yesterday to progress the complaint says its beyond belief that VM cannot sort out a simple account, he's raised an internal complaint on my behalf.

Beginning to think that coming back to VM was a bad move.
