Re: Moans and Pet Hates
They used to do it with pre-ordered books, I think that still applies.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates
This city's "Integrated Transport System" has one again shown that it is, in fact, still a "DISintegrated Transport System".

Re: Moans and Pet Hates
Windows updates (again).
Gives you 2 options:-
Update and Shut Down
Update and Restart.
They both do the same thing, update and restart. The illusion of choice....

The former ends up with the PC off, the latter it reboots back on.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates
This is a bit of a moan but it has saved my life, I had a pace maker fitted four weeks ago and it was not a good experience , but I am so glad to get it done, Anyone else experience this drama

Re: Moans and Pet Hates
I have had a pacemaker for some years. The initial implant was OK, soreness didn't last too long and it has helped a great deal. You get checks regularly and then annually, except now this check is via remote monitoring. My pacemaker doesn't allow remote changes so if it needed that would mean a visit to hospital. Replacement is less good than the initial implant, always less neat.
