I mean no, it’s not as if they’ve ever used a Dutch Duke to chase the reigning monarch out of the country and declare him abdicated
in absentia is it. Or drag a king to the tower and hack his bonce off.
Thankfully Parliament has more recently chosen to pass legislation in order to ensure the heir is determined by law rather than by pure birthright. Three times, most recently in 2013.
