Re: Windows 11 25H2 officially released
have they stopped he m.2 controller issue yet? all my updates are delayed till I know I do not have to deal with that
---------- Post added at 19:20 ---------- Previous post was at 19:16 ----------
seeing as this is just an enablement package I would not force an in place upgrade and any issues caused previous will not be fixed ie the m.2 issue

Re: Windows 11 25H2 officially released
had mine paused for the 5 weeks maximum . . . it seems to have ran out today . . halfway through a gaming session.
Managed to kill it - eventually (damn near a full lockdown on everything) and now paused for another week . . or until I go Linux

Re: Windows 11 25H2 officially released
Controller issue I do not think it was decided it was definitely firmware as it is spread across different controllers

Re: Windows 11 25H2 officially released
Have Microsoft stopped releasing the updates via a updater application?

no but what they do is slowly roll out some of the so called "Feature Updates" which this one is prior to the release date and then all they do is send a package that enables it. 24H2 was a much larger Feature Update mor elike a proper service pack so was delivered different to this one
Anyone with upto date windows 11 that meets criteria (sometimes updates are flagged due to known issues and you will not get offered these) will already have 25H2 on their PC just waiting for it to be enabled

I was being sarcastic because I had explained it fully
I am not upgrading till the m.2 issue is fixed there is no concrete explanation. Firmware has no been proven to be the cause

Re: Windows 11 25H2 officially released
The M.2 thing is weird, had no issues with it myself but a mate who has practically the same setup as me, has the same board, cpu, ram, psu, nvme and gpu, I have not had the issue but he has.
