Very good, Carth.
I think the problem at the BBC is the censorship that producers/editors impose reflects a leftie tendency. That goes for some presenters too. I’m not sure whether or not Bowen is “leftie” - but he’s been doing the Middle East for so long that his gone-native credentials are apparent.

Thank ye most kindly young man, but I have to admit the post was by Papa, he had faster wit and fingers than I and wouldn't want to steal his credit (although the government would)

I think that the BBC News is far from impartial - you only have to look at the coverage Farage gets (with 4 MPs, & around 860 Council seats)), compared to the Green Party (same number of MPs and around 860 Council seats) and the LibDems (who have over 15 times the number of MPs and around 3200 Council Seats)

I reckon Farage gets more coverage than the Greens because . . . well, people don't talk about the Greens but Farage is definite click bait material

... and that's on top of the 18 MPs who blackmail Starmer's lot into bad decisions.
The BBC don't report that.

Come the General Election, we have a party that represents the views of those who want genuine change. Nothing can happen before then, unfortunately, except at a local level when the main council elections are held.

The Conservatives are the new Liberal Party, so that counts for nothing in this argument.

What?
While Reform UK deserve more coverage because they are now likely to form the next UK government, the BBC concentrates only on negative coverage of the party, and its hostility towards Reform UK representatives, and Nigel Farage in particular, is plain for all to see - even you, Hugh - so at least be honest about that.

Such has been the case when any 'alternate' thinking has reared its head
