Re: How to make Yahoo my browser/home page

what browser did you use previously? Chrome? Brave ? if you search for that it should give you the option to make it default browser when you open it in theory your homepage should not have changed

Re: How to make Yahoo my browser/home page

On Firefox you go to settings and for Home you can choose Use current page(s). Other browsers likely have something similar.
So browse to Yahoo, and any other pages in other tabs and use the appropriate option.

Re: How to make Yahoo my browser/home page

You can normally set your defaults in Windows settings as well (assuming you have Windows) - usually somewhere in Control Panel.

Windows 11
For Windows 11, Edge is the default. Initially, Microsoft made it difficult for people to change the default to a different browser, but after a slew of complaints, the company eased the process.

To change the default in Windows 11, go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps.

Scroll down the screen and select the browser you wish to set as the default, then click Set default.

Windows 10
In Windows 10, Microsoft replaced Internet Explorer with Edge, which received a Chromium-based overhaul in 2020. Naturally, Microsoft recommends that you stick with its own browser, but you can change the default.

Navigate to Settings > Apps > Default Apps and select Web browser.
you wanted yahoo.com as your homepage

Quote:
1. Open Chrome and go to the Settings icon, which is located at the top right of the screen.
2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu that appears.
3. In the Appearance section, choose Show Home Button and check the box next to it.
4. In the Homepage & New Tab section, type in https://www yahoo com/ into the address bar.
5. Save your changes by clicking on the Done button at the bottom of the page.
6. Exit out of Chrome and your new homepage should be yahoocom

Re: How to make Yahoo my browser/home page

Edge has a habit of asking you to make it default when it updates you may have accidentally hit ok. It can be removed entirely but it is a faff.
