The relentless march of AI

It is both amazing and yet petrifying to see how quickly the technology is progressing.

NotebookLM is an amazing research tool,
Gemini is just getting better and better
Claude and specifically Claude code are mind blowing at development

I built an agent in google agentspace today it took me approx 2hrs to teach it what I needed it to do. It then proceeded to complete a piece of work in twenty minutes that it would have taken a network architect approx three days to complete.

Just mind blowing stuff

Re: The relentless march of AI

Glad I've retired already, would hate to think of working until 75 and paying 55% tax on my earnings just to support the poor buggers who no longer have a job because of the fabulously efficient time saving AI that now does it all.

. . and don't be calling me stupid for suggesting 55% tax . . . it'll be AI that looks at the figures and sets the rate
