Re: What game are you playing
BallisticNG for PC. I was a massive Wipeout and Wipeout 2097 addict. With the NeGcon controller it was the best arcade game ever there was for the Playstation.
BallisticNG is close and it's fun, but without the NeGcon controller it can never match Wipeout. But it's still fun and I'm enjoying it. Hoping to dig out VR for it and see how it goes...

Just got platinum for Jedi Survivor on PS5 Pro, what a great game although the Fractured Determination Force Tear was a pain in the ass to complete.

Re: What game are you playing
I'm struggling to find anything to play, and when I do, I find it hard to stay enganged in it long enough, it's been way too long now that I've had this isssue, maybe I'm to tight with games, I hate paying £40-£50 for a game.

What is your gaming platform?
Mines Playstation and I NEVER spend £40-£50 on games anymore, i either play games on the PS+ Extra subscription(there is alot of good games on there which saves a fortune) or wait for Playstation sales where I recently bought several top games for around £90 so definitely not bank breaking which makes it feel like I don't spend money on games.

PC, I had a PS4, it hasn't been used in years.
I used to always have PS+, I got Xbox Ultimate (did the trick to get it for like £2 odd a month for 2 years) which seemed like a good deal at the time, as you get a fair few new games to play. My only issue with it is the download speed on it is dreaful, it'll probanly be the reason I don't renew it.

Re: What game are you playing
New DLC for Destiny 2 has released, was playing it but it's really annoyed me with the re-used story line from Halo 1, complete practical reset of everything, introduction of useless power grind that is going to be lost in a few months.
The game is going down hill, and is now aimed purely at those who can put 10+ hours a day into the game, if you're a casual gamer the game is no longer worth it.
In Elite they have just released the Panther Clipper Mkii, it's awesome, can fill my fleet carrier in 21 trips instead of over 30, making trading Community Goals great.
Will be interesting to see how many credits I can make using this now.

Re: What game are you playing
Just fixed stick drift on 3 Dualsense PS5 controllers so thought I'd test one so I've started playing God of War Ragnarok on my Pro.

This is one of the things that annoys me with controllers and joysticks, the manufacturers (Sony/Microsoft) know about stick drift and dead zone issues, they know it can be avoided/fixed with Hall Effect Sensors but refuse to use them because it stop's people from buying a new controller/joystick every year or two.
I am eventually going to need a new HOTAS for Elite and I recently tried a Warthog but couldn't get on with it, because I don't have the room to use pedals properly, and requiring a 3rd party app for button mapping was annoying.
I think I will eventually go for a Virpil Hotas setup but they are so expensive and currently being out of work, they are fully off the table.

Oh it annoys me too, I think it's ridiculous they can't install anti drift potentiameters, I installed TMRs which are the next step up from Hall Effect and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't cost Sony anymore to fit them, they know what they're doing and the bad press doesn't seem to make them care. Atleast they make them so a suitably skilled person can open them up relatively easily to replace and it's not like a mobile phone.
