Re: Season 2025/2026
There were rumours during his absence from the squad but nobody was reporting anything other than the clubs mouthpiece of an injury. Arsenal let him leave out of contract because of contract differences.

Diogo Jota: Forever our number 20
It was the number he wore with pride and distinction, leading us to countless victories in the process – and Diogo Jota will forever be Liverpool Football Club’s number 20.
After consultation with his wife, Rute, and family, the club can announce the squad number will be retired in honour and memory of Diogo across all levels, including LFC Women and Academy.

We got lucky as Arsenal can't score, Chelsea seem to have a hundred players, Man City must have got infected by Man Uniteds neverending downhill spiral.

Nope. Arteta is not Xabi Alonso. Sadly we went shopping at a certain supermarket and now wonder why it's all gone wrong.
Pep didn't want to disrupt a winning machine. They could have foreseen what was to unfold.
