Re: Whats the last restaurant you dined at?
Ventured into Essex last week at a place called Aroma, all you can eat lunch time buffet, it was okay and exactly what it said on the tin.
I've also spent the weekend at Potters in Hopton, food is not what it was but it's still very good plus I managed the full four courses at lunch and dinner every day, missed all but one breakfast and supper in my defence though.

Uncle Sam's. They seem populated down south. I had a double cheeseburger meal with a strawberry milkshake and some onions rings. A little pricey but delicious smelling food.

Burger king. A chicken royale meal is now £10. Extras like cheese and milkshake are more. I think it all came to 13/14£ you should get two meals for that price. Crazy.

Le Jardin de Rome, 8th arrondissement, Paris - Ribeye on the bone with chips, two 50cl glasses of Leffe Blonde, sat outside - it was pretty good.

Re: Whats the last restaurant you dined at?
I use to get them frequently when working in town. I don't know, it didn't hit the sweet spot like it use to near 20 years ago. May be I've grown out of them.
The milkshake tasted like uncle sam's. McDonald's has it's own distinctive taste. I don't like McDonald's fries like I use to.
Do taste buds change over time?

McDonalds fries have really got terrible now. They are always dry now. Just don't hit the same.
Not had a BK in years.

Piccolo Pizza Restaurant Brighton. I got a chicken pizza. My aunt got a pepperoni pizza. I thought let's try the meatball pasta, it sucked! I found that hard to believe but it did. Anyway the pizza was fine. Thin base loads of toppings. I was craving stuffed crust but the garlic dip made up for it. It was ok. Pricing, £10 a pizza, £6 meatball pasta.

Re: Whats the last restaurant you dined at?
Went to emba* (Mustard Wharf Lockside, Leeds) for lunch with SWMBO - it used to the The Owl (still run by Liz Cottam, who was in 2016 Masterchef).
We shared a couple of plates for starters - fire toasted bread with freshly churned butter, olives, chorizo, and fennel sausage, then for mains I had rack of lamb, potato aioli, red walnut pesto, and mint purée, SWMBO had pork schnitzel with potato purée and mushroom & red wine sauce, and we shared crispy butter fried potatoes with aioli and an absolutely outstanding asparagus & crushed pea salad with dashi and Parmesan shavings.
For dessert we had a milk ‘bomb’ (Dulce de Leche, lemon, & fennel) with toasted crushed hazelnuts, and spiced apple pastry with vanilla cream.
Absolutely delicious meal, and we were served by Liz, who explained the ingredients of each course and how it had been prepared and cooked - really added to the enjoyment of the meal.
*just opened today.

That's the first time I've seen you type something different than chocolate milk unless you were snorting it....
