Ah so it's a rolling 12 month period. Understood thank you.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I think points last longer than 12 months on a UK licence.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Not sure why I said 12 months maybe I was thinking 12 points.
Touch wood I've never had any points.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Zak Brown was adamant some seasons ago that McLaren would compete at the highest level. I had my doubts. Honestly I thought McLaren were Mercedes bitch.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
It was looking good for Lewis but unfortunately it didn't come.
Only 0.2 seconds between first and fifth is so close, and 0.9 seconds for 10th place.
Hopefully Max won't win it, I'd like to see Pastry win if Lewis can't.

The rain causing chaos at the race today, it's cleared up but anything can still happen.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
They were getting drenched. I find it hard to believe Max can turn the championship around.

Max won't win the championship now, it'll be one of the McLarens which I'm pleased about.
It was great to see Hulk finally get his first podium with his 239th F1 GP.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
Breaking News
Red bull SACK Christian Horner, I suspect Max will be leaving too at the end of the season to either Mercedes or Aston Martin unless the Verstappen clan was the reason he got sacked so Max would agree to stay.
Alan Permane has been promoted to team principal of Racing Bulls.
Laurent Mekies takes over duties of CEO of Red Bull Racing.

I hope he doesn't end up at Ferrari.

Re: Formula 1 2025 Season Thread
I don't know how to feel about this news. You can't really knock a winner but the bad press was mounting up.
