 | Epg is a waste of time, should anyone rely on it. Shows marked as not new when they are. Completely incorrect description. Missing new on shows. Slight change of title is enough to completely throw it.

Some old shows are being marked as new when they aren't, so TiVo ends up recording stuff people have already seen. It's been reported, but nothing has been done.

 | Why not bookmark it then? You can bookmark to your heart’s content without using any disc space.

I know it sounds mad, but I have seen this happen first hand in the public sector.

The BBC used to be the go-to channel for sport. It's lost a lot of it to pay TV but now it is giving up the sports output that is still available. The Corporation is becoming less relevant over time. Even its reputation for impartiality on reporting the news is now being questioned.

Does the public "really want" Sportsday? I've yet to spot any outcry or a 'save Sportsday' petition anywhere. Far more people will visit the BBC Sport website for sports news then likely ever watch Sportsday.

		| The deal will also see UKTV’s streaming service U launch on Virgin TV V6 boxes this summer, expanding the footprint of the U service to 95% of Virgin Media TV homes, and becoming the primary platform for Virgin TV customers to enjoy UKTV’s free-to-air on demand content. Currently, U is available to Virgin Media customers with a Stream or Virgin TV 360 box only. | |
