One of the reasons they’re so cheap is they don’t cross-subsidise a delivery service. The likes of Asda and Tesco can’t really get your groceries to you for £2.50. The slightly higher price of the groceries themselves makes up the difference.

Same applies to any free/cheap service, the costs is just built in. Ie free carpet fitting

Don’t you hate it when that happens?
You’re minding your own business, walking down a busy High Street/mall/shopping centre, it starts raining so you pop into the nearest shop to keep dry, trip over the entrance mat on the way in, and a watch gets lodged onto your wrist - no amount of liquid soap will dislodge it, and to save further embarrassment/the police being called, you agree to pay for it.
or something along those lines…

Car insurance, over £100 less than last year so looks like the prices are coming down.

The £100 was before top cashback. With the cashback it worked out at £98 for the year.

Re: What have you just bought?
Haircut, beard trim, nose and ear wax
Worrying times now, it takes longer to wax the nose and ears than it does for the haircut . And there’s more removed too

Did you get the B,S, & C done whilst you were there, for the "full manscaping"?
