Maybe i'm missing a trick here ,should maybe look at branching out and building a few of these new displays

Sainsbury's and Morrisons are displaying adverts for tobacco products in their stores which Trading Standards says are against the law.
Video screens and posters promote devices that deliver nicotine by heating tobacco rather than burning it.
The two supermarkets say they believe the laws banning tobacco advertising do not apply to the devices.

I'm glad I don't see the crap in my local Tesco express. It's disgusting. No health benefits at all

People can of course just ignore adverts.

Re: Large shops banned from displaying cigarettes
The article is from today.
From article/
Quote:
Heated tobacco is different from vapes, which contain nicotine but no tobacco, and they are much less popular.
|
I suppose it comes down to whether it's a Tobacco product or a nicotine
product.

Quote:
1 Meaning of “tobacco advertisement” and “tobacco product”

I've seen the ads, but had no idea what the products were - thought they were the supermarkets own brand of vape to be honest. Got out of the nicotine game nearly 13 years ago so don't pay any attention anymore.

Good idea but how much effect it will have is less certain.

Why would they advertise if it didn't work in their benefit - large companies are not renowned for wasting money on things that don't work.

I assume you're referring to the original issue in the title of shuttering away cigarettes, so they're not visible at the checkout.
