Google AI hahaha
I am 5 foot 8 inches 55 and 13 stone 9lb and my BMI has me at overweight ( which I actually love because it is the first time in 15 years I have not been obese) so at 7 stone you would have to be like 3 foot tall to be obese

I am 55. I think you could build it up if you took it slow and did not expect to much too soon. Buying a spin bike and using it 15 minutes a day at first was the making of me

Oh damn! Well done on your weight loss
I tried with the help of wellbeing in the town I live in but my energy levels are floored. I'm not motivated at all. I do know that if I loose a huge chunk of weight my energy levels will increase it's just getting down to around 8/9 stone first.
I was told by a dietician to fill my plate with half veg and the other half normal meal and the weight will drop but I just don't get full following that method

7st is seriously not healthy for an adult.

This is the first time I've ever checked my BMI and it's 25.4 so I'm just in the overweight category for someone who's 5ft11, not sure how many kgs I need to lose to be in the green.
But eating bacon rolls and very little exercise other than walking around at work(7000 steps) isn't helping. Lol

I felt good though. The NHS calculator agrees with you I'd be underweight. It's suggested that 8/9 stone as a healthy number.

How they measure BMI nowadays is pretty useless TBH. When I was in my 20s we used to go around certain parts of the body measuring fat under skin with callipers and used a long forgot formula to come to a more accurate number

Light in the microwave has packed up. Now I need to open it up and find out what bulb it is.

As others have said, BMI is not a great way to measure your health.
I'm 6ft and since the start of 2024, my weight has fluctuated between 16 and 16 and a half stone, depending on what type of weight training I'm doing.
According to my BMI of 31 (give or take 1 either way) I'm obese.
However, my body fat is 15% (Last checked it 2 weeks ago).
At 50 years old it's becoming harder and harder to maintain that percentage however the BMI measurement classing me as "obese" is clearly a pile of old arse-gravy.

You'd need to lose 2kg.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8
And there’s nothing wrong with that. As long as it gets your heart pumping you’re in with a better chance of a calorie deficit.
The scales are handy to have though.
