Ram question
I currently have a kit of corsair 6000mhz cl 30 ram.
If I wished to add more ram could I just buy the same kit again and would system accept that ok?
Thanks everyone.

Re: Ram question
A lot of systems are struggling with 4 sticks of Ram both intel and amd systems. I opted for a 48GB kit 2 sticks so I was in the middle and did not need to worry

Re: Ram question
Go on the Crucial website and you should be able to look up what RAM you need and what is compatible with your motherboard.

Win98 max is 1 GB, but you may have some problems with DOS type programs if you install more than 512 MB.

I suspect you'd struggle to even buy a stick that small these days, suspect itg be a trip to eBay or somewhere similar to pick up something 25 years old.

As they used to say in the IBM iSeries manual when disk capacity was over 90%, "unpredictable results may occur"…

How much have you got? If it's 32gb then that is more than enough for the next number of years. If it's 16gb, best bet would be to replace with a 32gb kit and sell the 16gb kit.
Newer DDR5 memory, epically with AM5 platform AMD cause doesn't play too well with 4 sticks so best sticking to a dual stick kit.

Intels XMP does not like it equally. Getting the full speed out of 4 sticks of DDR5 is proving hard across the board and often has to be manually clocked with XMP or Expo disabled
