Re: Browser not opening in full screen

I would have thought it opens the way it was closed down. So if it was closed full screen it should open full screen. That's how is it on mine. Other than that, just double click on the top title bar to make it full screen.

Re: Browser not opening in full screen

Have you set it to open as full screen (maximised) in Properties?

You're totally right. I didn't know that as I run mine from the pinned taskbar icon. Ta for that.

I spoke too soon, it still opens the same state the browser was closed even when I set it to maximized.

Where do I find properties please? When I click to open the browser it only takes up a quarter of the screen, when I click the little square to enlarge, it gives me a choice of sizes, I have tried every one, until eventually I get full screen, not in the choices, if that makes sense.

Re: Browser not opening in full screen

If you are on a PC or laptop create a shortcut to the browser. Right click shortcut select properties in the target field add the following to the end (do not miss the space)

--start-fullscreen

and save

for example "C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Chrome.exe" --start-fullscreen

open using shortcut

or you could just press F11

This is for proper full screen though not maximised

When you next close your browser from maximised press the shift key when you do that forces it to be remembered
