Wonder if they're smart enough/ can be bothered to wriggle out of this mess, a coronation or blunder woman staying in charge of the party but giving up being pm, they've done both before

This makes the point that the country better than bumbles on without government. Business does business, doctors treat patients; buses and trains run (subject to strikes), electricity flow, water flows, etc.Quote:

The british public on a whole seems to be apathetic to the state of politics, preferring instead to focus on 'here's three new things you never knew you could do on your iphone' , 'Mrs. Miggins five minute kitchen clean that will make it sparkle' & 'healthcare assistant from dumfries transforms kitchen using B&M buys'

With government in place, you'd be lucky to get a doctor appointment; electricity is at risk; sewage gets into our rivers; train drivers go on strike, etc.

It wasn't much different at various times, with various governments, in the past.

I've been against the talk of an election after another leader change because that's not how this country works and it's also dangerous to make it a precedent, bad PMs would be kept because the MPs don't want an election, but this is such a mess I can't see how the Tories can morally justify not holding one.
