A Tory source tells me a substantial amount of letters gone into Sir Graham Brady who is apparently away in Athens but returns on Monday. “Wait till he gets back”https://twitter.com/BethRigby/status...82554588762112 |

Party leadership election rules are secondary.

This no time to call a General Election! Let the Tories hand the mantle of PM to Jacon Rees Mogg and ensure that they will be truly unelectable. |

NEW Senior members of the 1922 committee could hold talks this weekend about Liz Truss's leadership.
Some MPs on its 19-strong board want chairman Sir Graham Brady to convene a conference call of the executive tomorrow or Sunday. 1/2

Well at least we know the electorate can no longer dictate who their leader is. That after Boris pissed off the establishment and actually took us out of Europe, they got rid of him. But then when their choice of Rishi was dismissed by the membership by a candidate that promised tax cuts and a growth policy.
They decided they had to destroy that, and no we have Hunt, f**king Hunt. Remainer in chief, mr status quo, mr appointed.

Cue, capitulation over the N.I. Issue, cue, subordination to the EU.

Cue a Labour Government that has offered nothing.

**** it, I’m too old to give a shit.

With any luck my mortgage is paid by December, and I can weather the crap for a few years from any government of any colour, but U.K. politics is in the toilet because at least with Blair there was a vision, a belief, a destination.

Starmer offers nothing apart from being not Tory. (Which will be enough)

 | And there was me (and almost every one else) thinking it was because he lost the confidence of Tory MPs because he lied about knowing, then defended, then tried to change the rules, for someone who was a repeat sexual predator…
