Re: Partygate & Beergate discussion
Those MP's left in the cabinet are just going to have to do what most other public servants have been made to do under this government and knuckle down and do the same work but with less staff.

And therein lies the problem. He palpably doesn’t, yet we are relying on the invertebrates of the Conservative party developing spines, changing the rules a mere month after backing him, to remove a PM that’s a proven liar, has broken the law, meets foreign agents without officials and is completely incompetent.

Can expect Suella to be sacked in the morning.

What do you make of it all, Papa? Do you think Johnson will make it to 2023 as PM?

Re: Partygate & Beergate discussion
Not so much a government running the country but a government and party at war with itself.

Re: Partygate & Beergate discussion
Again, you wonder how long the Government can run without Ministers. No 10 haven't been able to fill these positions so the Government can't function.

There is no government without government ministers. You stated in an earlier post it’s not a constitutional crisis, it absolutely is.
The only mechanism now to rid of this stubborn Prime Minister, is for Parliament itself, Starmer could himself raise a no confidence vote, I reckon there would be two thirds requirement, to oust him, there is still the little issue of him going to Buckingham Palace to resign and naming a successor.
