My two 360 boxes have received a software update overnight. Virgin Media seems to have skipped version 4.38 and gone straight to version 4.39. I can't find anything new at first sight, just the usual bland message.

This won’t affect Virgin Media at all, MB.
 | Talks are ongoing as Warner want to end the HBO deal with SKY early, but it might cost them a fair whack to do so.

People can't eadily (or at all) cut back on National Insurance, petrol, food, gas, electricity etc, so are being advised to cut back on things that were paid for out of their disposable income when they had it.

Unless Virgin Media UK signs a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.

Virgin will need to payout two payments per month to a same company.

The following Channels may launch as part of this new deal:

-CNN HD
-Boomerang HD
-Discovery Turbo +1
-Food Network +1
-Quest Red +1

 | I doubt that, MB. CNN is now the streamer, CNN+ and the linear TV channel has closed down. I would not have thought that any new +1 channels would launch on Virgin. As for Boomerang, I can't see Virgin paying more to get that channel, since they didn't pay to keep it last time.

Incidentally, the CNN app is still showing on the 360, and when I checked the other day, it was still working, too.
