"Around the world in 80 days", the new series, keeps appearing as "currently unavailable".
Any idea why? |

If you mean on BBC iPlayer, it’s available on my V6 in Leeds (just tried it in the "search" function).

Any idea why? | Have you mixed up the current drama series with the Michael Palin documentary series with the same name? The Michael Palin series is currently being repeated on Saturdays on BBC4.
Could it be due to the future BBC1 channel number changes?

It's via the V6, both on Catch-up and On Demand. And it's definitely the new series with David Tennant.
I get a banner with the string of episodes logos across the screen, but under each is "currently unavailable".

I am selecting it from the V6 main menu, and don't see any mention of BBC iPlayer.

And, once again, I set a series link from the first episode, days before the first real-time transmission, but the V6 only recorded episodes 5 and 6.

How exactly are you trying to access this?
Can you watch them if you load the iPlayer app from Apps & Games, and then search?

 | Check the year in the description. I selected the HD version from the list, and on my V6 it says 1989, stars Pierce Brosnan, and appears to be on Amazon Prime, as that is where pressing "Back" takes you to. The non-HD version takes you to the current iPlayer version.

Last evening, TWO HD titles appeared, and one was the new series. And this time I selected Ep1 and up popped BBC iPlayer and a "Do you have a TV licence" button. So all OK now.
A glitch somewhere for a few days.
