Finally can get cf on pc
For 2 years cf has been blocked by Kaspersky as has there own site if replying to an e mail from them ! My granddaughter's friend sorted it out in 2 minutes !!!! . Not sure what she was talking about something , to do with setting on Firefox for hpps or something like that. Guess the more savvy will be able to tell all

We moved to https about 2 years ago, no idea what setting in firefox, unless it was for the SSL/TLS version.

All I took notice of,( over my head) is that she changed the setting in Firefox it was if I recall from the bottom on to one higher up in the security settings. Anyway it's works now so that's a plus. It also solved the problem with the e mails from Kaspersky . Still don't think l will renew with them .as their Tecs didn't have a clue! Been back and fore about it for most of that two years !!!:shocked : sorry can't get near pc one of the girls is face timing ? With home. Be sort of glad when they are back in uni if only for my BP ! Too many pretty girls walking around ! Still have been a great help in many ways and love having grits and pancakes just can't make them as well as they do .

Hmmm, could be SSL/TLS, we block anything older than TLSv1.1
I dont see how that would be related to Kaspersky though.
Plus it would have to be a very old version of Firefox to be using lower versions by default.
I suppose it could just be the security content blocking, which she simply turned off.
That would likely be affected by Kaspersky.

I use Kaspersky, as-long as u add cable forum to the whitelist in the firewall then all is well.

Ok but why would it not like it ,and what is point if you think it has called it wrong . I am not Tec savvy at all .it's the reason l pay for it !!l

What u have to first understand s its not the fault of Cable forum nor its staff that Kaspersky has made this mistake, it happens on 1000s of sites world wide on a yearly basis that's why the whitelist system is there and exists in-case Kaspersky or another brand of Antivirus\Firewall gets it wrong.
So please understand and stop pointing a finger at the staff on this site.

Im to not they were . Said at one point we have told them . Don't believe them . Will change to bitdefender in the next week or so. However if you can trust them what's the point

Get the Bitdefender Total Security 90 day trial, then when it expires sign up again for another 90 days using the same email but just move the '.'

I'm not to sure what you're trying to convey here?t
This i think its my 6th year for using Kaspersky this year and even though i had the same issue as u as i said i just added the site to the programs whitelist which gives you instant access again.
